A lovely and meditative piece of instrumental post-metal. I do prefer the more traditional and vocal "Furthest From Heaven" but nevertheless this is a nice album and worth checking out.

Abandon is probably the most criminally unknown sludge doom ever. Both The Dead End and In Reality We Suffer are borderline a traumatic experience for the listener, and I say that with the utmost compliment. Bleak, crawling instrumentals lull the listener into a false sense of comfort before the inevitable crushing drop accompanied by the anguished, brute force vocals finish you off. Not a casual listen, be warned. alex nilsson-faulds
"Curse These Metal Hands" parlays the UK bands' chemistry into a record which—for all its tinnitus-inducing ferocity and elegiac arrangements—practically drips with transcendent joy. Bandcamp Album of the Day Aug 18, 2019
